My name is Veronika, I am from Slovakia but I have been living in China and Hong Kong for the past seven years. I am a professional trail runner and the founder of Asia Trail Girls. I discovered the beauty of trails at my first race in 2017, when I was running through remote green forests in the Chinese countryside. I immediately fell in love with trail running. Currently I am running and racing across the globe. Trail running has helped me to feel stronger and happier, furthermore, I believe that it is not just a way to keep fit but also a way of active meditation and soul cleaning. Through Asia Trail Girls I want to inspire girls and women to find the confidence to get out there and run, to learn how to train and be prepared to celebrate their achievements.
