“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is my favourite mantra ever since I survived stage 2 lymph cancer in mid-2016. Born and raised in Hong Kong (apart from 5 years in the UK for studies), active since teenage as a runner for my secondary school’s athletics and cross-country team, cancer caught me by surprise in my early-20s.

Running changed my life – from being strong-minded since young to lucky discovery of cancer from a car accident during a run, steady recovery, completing my 1st full marathon in 3:50 just 2.5 years after my 12th and final chemo, and eventually finding the inner-peace and joy of being a trail runner.

In the midst of COVID-19, I began trail running seriously. Adventurous and eager to learn, I am fortunate to meet (on trails!) many inspiring and friendly trail runners who are equally (if not more) addicted to the simple joy of running alongside Mother Nature.

Driven by passion to inspire and the mantra “do what you love, love what you do”, I have been a part-time group fitness instructor in the gym since 2019 alongside my full-time career as a lawyer in Hong Kong. I sincerely believe a good run, hike or workout would bring positivity and enjoyment to everyone – regardless of gender and age – and I very much look forward to sharing the joy of trail running with all of you!
